Yes, I’m still taking lots and lots of pictures and have for the past 20 years for Yale University School of Medicine. Witnessing and photographing brain surgery has been truly an amazing experience as well as covering events, portraits, editorial and architecture. Being slow to get married and behind the biological clock by a few stokes I’m the proud mother of a 10 year old son. So sports have slipped into to my life and what else can a hockey mom do (especially if she hates lipstick) take pictures! I separate personal and professional photography between analog and digital. I confess I still love working in the darkroom with running water, dim lighting, books on tape, favorite music and the slower pace. Black & White gelatin silver prints rock. Over the years I’ve been actively involved in the arts community as a teacher, exhibitor, and curator. New Haven Ct has been a wonderful place to live and grow.

NO THATS NOT MY GRANDSON THATS MY BOY. YES 53 WITH A 3 1/2 YR OLD BUT HE AND THE HARD WOOD WILL KEEP ME YOUNGER THEN MOST AND IM NEVER GETTING OLD ILL BE 68 WHEN BRIAN GRADUATES HIGH SCHOOL AND 72 COL. AND ILL MOST LIKELY STILL BE SHAPING COPPER UP ON THE ROOF AND DANCEING ON THE HARD WOOD. I NEVER LEFT THE AREA IN SUMMIT TELL 2005 EXACTLY 40 YRS. THEN I MOVED FAR AWAY TO NEW POVIDENCE WHEN MY DREEM HOUSE CAME UP FOR SALE. IT WASNT THE HOUSE GUYS, IT WAS THE 2000 SQ.FT. SHOP FOR MY BISNESS. GOT MARRED THE FIRST TIME IN 82 HAD MY DAUGHTER CHELSEA (SHES MY BEUTIFUL LITTLE GIRL) SENIOR AT MARS HILL COLLEGE IN N.C. DIDNT LERN MY LESSON AND GOT REMARRED IN 2005 (IM A HOPLESS ROMANTIC) MY SON WAS BORN AT OVERLOOK IN APRIL 06 I'VE BEEN BLEST WITH TWO BEUTIFUL CHILDREN. |

I love being back in NJ after being gone for 20 years. Finally I get to help out with a reunion, and it is too much fun being with this group who have worked hard on the last two. Each meeting is like a mini reunion. Mendham was a great place to settle and launch our children from. Our children are my greatest accomplishment. When the youngest went to kindergarten, I began to paint and have recently had two shows in this area. There are 6 of us girlfriends from Summit who get together monthly or more, and I have to say, that is the thing I love most about being back here. There are more of you out there whom I'd love to see again too. I am very excitedfor our reunion. We'll try to make a weekend of it. If you have ideas for Friday or Sunday, please get in touch with us. Love to All! |

I have been living in Chester for over 20 years and do make it back to Summit on occasion. Yes, that's right, six kids. And two ex-wives. And through it all, here's what I've learned: I know absolutely nothing about women or children. Here we all are on the other side of 50. I don't know about the rest of you, but I find this to be the most interesting part of my life. You take stock of your accomplishments, forgive yourself for your mistakes. You're young enough to not feel old, old enough to not take what's left of your youth for granted. The children are on their way, but you have so much of life left. I think it's the best time in life. So I don't want to hear anybody complaining about being old. 90 is old. Infirmed is old. We're in the middle of being middle-aged. |
