After high school in Maryland, and college in Pennsylvania, I worked on Capitol Hill for about seven years before marrying Summit High grad John Carroll, and moving to--where else--New Jersey! John stills loves basketball, and has made a career of coaching college and NBA teams. After NJ, we lived in western PA where our son Austin was born. Then on to MA to become part of the the "Celtics family" and settle where we live now, about half an hour from Boston in the middle of lots of Revolutionary War history.

But we are no strangers to New Jersey. John's family is there, and a summer doesn't go by without some time spent at the Jersey Shore. And although recruited by several schools, son Austin ultimately chose NJ and begins playing basketball for Rutgers University this season. The Carrolls will be at those RAC games whenever humanly possible. John thinks this can be a "day" trip. We'll see how that works.
