Wow has it really been 35 years. Where has the time gone?? I just wanted to say hello to all of you. I have been living in Basking Ridge, NJ, with my husband of 30 years (Jeff Bland SHS'77) really more if you count high school, raising our 3 children. This is a great community to raise a family, but my dream is to live in Sea Girt, N.J. We have raised 3 children (really they are adults) Jessica-28, Lauren-23 and Jeffrey-21. And I am now just starting to tell them all the "fun" I had in high school. They still can not believe half of it. My daughter Jessica-28 is at Seton Hall Law School. She lives in Jersey City. Lauren-23 is at the Summit Medical Group and lives both in Summit and and in Jersey City. My son Jeffrey-21 is at the United States Naval Academy-Annapolis and he is a senior and is a catcher, playing baseball for Navy and has just been voted captain by his team mates. My family is my biggest accomplishment. I have been a practicing registered nurse for 30 years. Hope to see all of you soon. Love to all!!! |

I seem to be permanently tethered to Summit, having never gotten much further than the far reaches of Brooklyn and a little town in south Jersey called Princeton. After college I lived in Summit, Flatbush (that's Brooklyn), E93rd St. in Manhattan, E30th St., Cobble Hill (Brooklyn again) and back to Summit. Tried my hand at asst. editor for a trade magazine, then assoc. ed., then Dir. of Marketing for a film co., then law firm admin for a year (huh?) then stay-at-home mom for a year, then bookkeeper, then graphic designer, then back to the law firm admin gig (different law firm) where I still am 20 YEARS later! Time is flying here - since I first entered this info, another year has gone by, my son is a Senior at Pitt, and the Reunion is only a few weeks away! Looking forward to seeing everyone in October -- don't miss it! |
