February 02, 1957 Orlando FL US Construction Consultant Single St. Teresa's Too many to choose from
What a long, strange trip it's been…

After SHS went to Wentworth Institute of Technology, a really small junior college in Boston (the best college town in the country).  From there a contingent of us went off to Arizona State University, which was basically a 4 month vacation.  After sitting out a semester I graduated from Purdue University, located in beautiful downtown God’s Country, Indiana.  Spent 3 years working in North Carolina and the economy started to tank in 1982, so what do you do then?  Go back to college, what else.

The University of Florida had a master’s program in building construction so off I went.  Spent 2 years in Gainesville to complete a 1 year program. But boy, did I have a good time.  Settled into South Florida and ended up in Rat Town (the home of Mickey) in 1994.  Started a general contacting firm that I sold to my business partner in 2004, no more whiney employees, and then started a consulting practice.  People actually pay me for my opinion!

While rollin’ down highway 95 I heard the patron saint of Florida say “I made enough money to buy Miami, but I pissed it away so fast.”  Now that’s something I can relate to.

P.S.  Go Gators!!!

Well, since I set up the SHS Class of 1975 Virtual 20th Reunion in 1995 (still there at http://bcn.boulder.co.us/~neal/summit/),  both the Internet and our own class organization have improved dramatically - kudos to the organizers!

I'm still learning everything I can about most everything, and bemoaning the stuff I don't get to.  The most fun stuff I've had recently is spearhead the introduction of real audits of elections in Boulder, and convince Colorado to pass laws to require the same thing.  Check out some articles about this stuff at my ElectionAudits site:   https://launchpad.net/electionaudits

I'm still happily married to Holly, living in Boulder CO (what a lovely place) and have been dancing up a storm again - waltz, west coast swing, folk dancing, etc etc..

If you want more details, just visit my home page or blog, or try google - yikes!

February 02, 1957 Mamaroneck NY US Curator/Arts Administrator Married 3 Brayton Imogene Heap
After running off to live-in-sin with the photography teacher, I graduated UPenn with degrees in American Civilization and went on to work as a museum curator (photography specialist, go figure…) and director for over 20 years. Randy and I eventually married and have two great kids, Gordon, who is pursing a BFA in acting/performance (I dedicate his career to Ted Nickerson, Sarah Norris, Judith Cohen and all cast members from our Jr. High production “A Servant of Two Masters”) at UMich and Willa, who just started her freshman year at Penn and is already a published poet! Randy and I divorced after some 20 years together and I moved to Chicago to marry Ian Wardropper, then a curator at the Art Institute. This added a step-daughter, Chloe, who graduated from Wesleyan this past spring and now works for Obama (indirectly) in the Justice Department. A change in jobs for Ian brought us back to the NY metro area and I am currently Deputy Director of the School of the Arts at the 92nd Street Y and we live in Mamaroneck, NY.By the way, Randy Granger is currently Chairman of Art Education at the University of the Arts in Philadelphia. He is married to a great lady, Irene McHenry, and he is still a cult figure with students far-and-wide. He was the first private school teacher to be elected to the National Teacher Hall of Fame, he won the Golden Apple of Teaching, he had a Department Chairmanship endowed in his name, the honors go on and on…. Life has been rich and complicated, which is why this post is so long. In closing, let me say that I think everyone looks great, though I don’t think I’d recognize any of you, except Tina Seelig, who looks exactly the same! (In the picture left to right: me, my sister Debbie, daughter Willa and Randy Granger) Send Sarah a MessageSend Sarah a Message
