How many of you remember Senior Week? (How many of you remember senior YEAR?)  Any memories of the week of events?  How about sleeping in the courtyard?

My pleasure, but it was a group effort.

I not only do not remember senior week, I have serious doubts that I ever attended Summit hIgh School.

This proves I was either not popular or totally out to lunch doing my own thing.  Probably both.  I don't remember any of this or hearing about it, much less being invited to participate.  I think by then I was firmly in the grips of graduation fever.  Didn't I have a graduation party at my house?  I seem to remember my Mom being pissed about the trampled pachysandra and my dad being pissed about everyone jumping in the pool with their clothes on.  Pretty sure I was jamming with some band also on our back patio.  We invited the cops to stand watch at the end of the driveway and to avoid hassle.  Anyone recall that?  It all seems like a dream to me now.

I remember riding bikes with Debbie Paessler to the progressive dinner at John Combias' house.  After we picked my sister up at the airport Debbie and I went to Don Moriarty's party.  The night in the courtyard was this same night, which was the night before we graduated.  In my scrapbook (which is where I had the calendar) I have a list of who spent the night.  I wrote we "ran from the police, hiked the wall, wandered around in the rain and froze to death."  Doesn't that sound fun?!!  I have no idea what I told my mother for why I wouldn't be home that night.  The next morning we used the home ec dryer to dry our sopping wet clothes.

For some reason, I really only remember going to the shore day at Terry's. I distinctly remember being on the deck there drinking beer. The rest is but a blur. Save graduation day, which was also notable because of the 8:00 a.m. Summit House rendezvous (absent from the calendar). Although where did the rainy night courtyard sleepover fit in there?
